Case Study: IT Organization Strategy

A Chief Technology Officer from an asset management company contacted us for advise on the options he will propose to the management board, in order to decide what will be the strategic IT program.

We started by auditing the different end-user departments, through interviews, and then put together a map synthesizing the current state of the IT landscape, as a baseline.

Each improvement point is quantified against it’s Business Value, through a method allowing comparison between points and sorting per relative priority.

According to where the baseline stands, we proposed best fit solutions, based on existing IT areas and / or new acquisitions or developments, and document a business case to defend the program at the management board.
