A client contacted us to gain some insight into his project portfolio, to optimize the priority management and to anticipate planning and budget slippage.
We met the project managers individually and learned their habits. We reviewed with them the Project Management Institute’s body of knowledge (PMBOK). We documented existing KPIs and proposed other metrics and created a road map that included capacity management of shared resources and project interdependencies.
As often as possible, we rely on existing monitoring tools, and automated reporting to ease the project manager’s day-to-day burden. Then we proceed with project digitalization in a platform that automatically generates monitoring tools and dashboards. These are shared within the client’s project management team during periodic reviews.
